Assistant FE Sports Lecturers provide support to SCL’s fully qualified FE Sports Lecturers within our well established and growing academies. You will support teaching for a range of qualifications, such as BTEC’s, NVQ’s and VRQ’s partnered with a range of sporting programmes, such as Football, Cricket, Rugby and many more!

The role of Assistant FE Sports Lecturer will suit an individual who can inspire young people to achieve their very best. You will be at the forefront of SCL providing support, guidance and encouragement alongside our FE Lecturers ensuring students follow their dreams!

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and inspire SCL students throughout their academic journey with SCL.
  • Providing assistance to the FE Lecturer in the delivery of the academy’s educational programme.
  • Ensuring SCL students receive day to day support and guidance to achieve their qualifications.
  • Act as an SCL representative at parent’s evenings, taster days, open days and career fairs.
  • Assist the FE Lecturer with club trials and student interviews.
  • Participate in regular teaching observations and in-service training as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
